River Crest Academy offers many services for the home schooling family:
Legal Church School Covering
Year round school year and enrollment (though year round teaching is a decision made by the parents)
Local social activities
Local field trips
Local school pictures
Occasional Newsletter with current information of upcoming events, helpful hints, area science fairs, contests, camps and more, as available.
Official Transcript for graduating seniors.
Official Diploma for graduating seniors.
A Formal Graduation Ceremony.
Support of all teaching methods.
WE ACCEPT YEAR ROUND ENROLLMENT!!
River Crest Academy's school year runs from August 1 through July 31 of each year.
At this time we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club and EnRoute as valid forms of payment. Once your paperwork has been received we will check to ensure that payment had been made then send in the necessary forms to your local school superintendent's office.
ENROLLMENT FEE/ RE-ENROLLMENT:
Enrollment Fee/ RE-ENROLLMENT: $65.00 annually – per family
(July 16th- April 30th)
Early Enrollment/ Re-Enrollment Fee: $55.00 annually- per family
(May 1st - July 15th)
Add additional child Mid-Year Fee: $15.00
Please make all check payable to Hope Hull UMC, memo River Crest Academy.
A fee of $25.00 will be charged in addition to the enrollment fee, if re-enrollment is not received BY AUGUST 15, 2015. This does not apply to new families.
RETURN CHECK FEE:
A return check fee of $35.00 will be attached to all checks returned by payers bank.
If a family is enrolled with RCA and wishes to enroll an additional child mid-year, there is an additional enrollment fee, of $15.00.
The records sent to River Crest Academy are the property of the parent/guardian of the enrolled child(ren). We keep these records on file and will mail them to the parent/guardian upon written request. There is no additional fee for this service.
STUDENT ID & TEACHER ID:
Student and Parent ID cards are not available on request.
One graduation transcript is free at the time of graduation.
Additional graduation transcripts are available for $5 per set.
Rush transcript fees carry a $20.00 rush fee. A rush transcript is one needed without a 14 day written notice.
Please note: Transcripts require time to prepare. If you need the transcript in less than 14 days from WRITTEN notice, you will be charged a $20.00 RUSH fee.
ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS ...
All grades and attendance records MUST be received in this office by May 10 in order to issue a diploma for a graduation after May 24.
If you are considering registration with River Crest Academy, you will find the enrollment forms and parent handbook below. Please read the handbook before enrolling in River Crest Academy, as it will answer most question you may have.
Please be advised that all Enrollment forms must be signed ~in Blue or Black ink~ by a legal guardian.
